Lumora Jellyfish Lamp
Full description
A jellyfish-shaped night light for a child's room. A dense cluster of soft wavy tentacles hangs from a frosted dome while the colour shifts slowly, so there's something to watch at bedtime instead of a flat white glow — or the ceiling.
Light that moves
The tentacles sway on their own, and the light fades gradually between colours through the frosted housing. Nothing flashes and there's no exposed bulb to stare into.
- Slow drift — the colour changes gradually on its own. This is the default.
- Hold one colour — stop it wherever you like if there's a favourite.
- Soft output — under 60 lumens. Enough to find the door by, not enough to read by.
Two ways to control it
- Touch — tap the top of the dome. No switch to find in the dark, nothing to explain to a four-year-old.
- Remote — the included handset changes colour and brightness from the doorway, so you don't have to walk back into a room you've just left.
Cordless, or not
The built-in battery runs about four hours and recharges over USB-C in roughly 90 minutes — the same cable that charges most things in the house. Cordless means it can go into a bag for a night at a grandparent's, with nothing to trip over.
Leave the cable plugged in and it runs as long as you want it to.
Turns itself off
After about 30 minutes on battery it powers down on its own. Most nights that's the point — it's there for falling asleep, not for burning through a charge until morning.
Built for a child's room
- Rounded all over — no sharp edges, no glass.
- Flexible tentacles — they bend and pull, and pop off rather than snap.
- Frosted finish — soft to the touch and doesn't show fingerprints.
- Weighted acrylic base — wide and flat, so it doesn't topple easily.

Good to know
Suitable for ages 3 and up. The tentacles are designed to detach, which is what makes them safe to bend and pull — but once detached they are small parts, so this isn't suitable for children under 3 or for anyone who still puts things in their mouth.
Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Not waterproof — keep it away from the bath.
Shipping & returns
It doesn't stay one colour
The whole room changes with it
Let it drift through the range on its own, or stop it wherever a favourite turns up.

Bedtime
Something to watch instead of the ceiling
Soft wavy tentacles drift beneath a frosted dome. No bulb to stare into, nothing sharp to bump — just movement, slow enough to settle into.
How it works
Three things to know, and that's all of them
Tap the top
One touch on the dome turns it on. No switch to find in the dark, nothing to explain to a four-year-old.
Or use the remote
Colour and brightness from the doorway, so you don't walk back into a room you've just left.
Then forget it
It switches itself off after about half an hour. Leave the cable in if you want it to run all evening.

Where it goes
Twenty centimetres of quiet
Tall enough to see from across the room, small enough for a bedside table or a bookshelf — and light enough to be carried there by whoever owns it.

Three numbers that matter
